Belarus tightens control over Internet with new law
General |
Taking effect from today, the new Belarusian internet law requires service providers and internet cafes to identify all users and log all surfing activity including websites visited. The law is intended to ban people from accessing opposition sites banned by the ruling party and especially targets employees at state-run companies and organizations, as well as cultural and educational institutions. The current President has been called Europe?s last dictator and has been in office since 1994. I believe the new law which was reported on by Washington Post, will lead people to look for ways to protect their privacy and freedom so naturally VPN and proxy usage is likely to increase.

mami jell is an idiot. I don’t even need to explain why.
This is a very good law with regards to regulating people with the sites they visit and banning them from prohibited ones, indeed a very good internet law.
