I have used Banana for a years now, in the middle east. really excellent service. Works really well for access to UK and international sites. Best of all, though, is the service support. Due to changing infrastructure in the region, passwords, settings and connections sometimes need to be changed. The support team are so responsive and helpful. Makes a big difference when you are in a remote place and need a hand to fix a connection.
The only downside is that you can’t use Banana for peer-to-peer filesharing, but then that is the same for all the other vpn providers, so no real difference.
Can’t use p2p but otherwise no problems, skype in dubai finally!
I’ve had mine for two year in Beijing and agree with other comments bellow. No issues so far ! I’m on a discounted plan and very happy in general. Peace.

Sold on Bananas. Great service, so far. i just installed on Mac, iPad (best) & iPhone – instructions were clear & took just a few minutes for each. I was able to test it out right away on a BBC live stream – & it even worked with 3G on the iPhone. Some stutter on the stream (about the same as Netflix), but I have a weak WIFI connecting at this end & put it down to that. Re Christian & OmarT below, I’m assuming Bananas boosters server access @ their end for peak viewing, say major events – eg Olympics, F1, football events. Hope so.
Uris in Support was so helpful (it was a non-tech issue), that after I got it running, I quickly switched from monthly to annual plan, and stopped looking at competitors.
Many servers to choose from and quick response to my emails. I haven’t had any serious issues and recently upgraded to the yeary plan, no point to look elsewhere, works as advertised.
I Use VPN in a GCC country. I am writing this reveiw because Banana have been really excellent, especially the support. The usage instructions are easy and clear, but when I had a few technical problems their email service reply has always been really quick and specific to the exact question I asked (with specific solutions). Further, when I purchased a 2nd Banana account for my other computer they spotted I had done this, emailed me asking why, (I explained I had 2 PCs) and they refunded my money without me asking for it, and sent me additonal alternative ISP addresses etc to use. Wow.
So, all in all, I have had an excellent service from Banana, and their support tops it off wonderfully. I use many services from many providers for many differing things, and I rate Banana support service as the best I have ever had. John

I can tell you the speed and reliability is more than I ask, I can watch HDD from IBBC and fast browse the internet in the same time. Keep the good work Banana you are the best.
Very easy to set up on my computers and mobile devices. Customer support via email is stellar. Sent several pre- and post-purchase customer support emails and got immediate, meaningful replies. So far operation is very reliable. Only one criticism: the website is not up to date on issues such as setup on most recent operating systems and devices.

After some problems getting my account on a USA VPN Bananas server, I ‘ve received at least my data after a lot of mails. The pptp connection via my macbook-pro is running only via IPSec it isn’t possible to realize. Before this account i had a German account and with that it was easy to connect via VPN-PPTP as well as VPN-L2TP over IPSec.
